The birth of a litter of puppies is an absolutely amazing experience.  Here are some images of Mae's pups entering into our world.  Some of these photos are graphic.  We hope that no one finds them offensive. To us, each birth is a gift and we wanted to share this gift with you.

This pup's sac broke open as she was being delivered.

Her ambilical cord is clamped while the afterbirth was

delivered.  Every pup has it's own separate sac.

This is a partially delivered pup still in it's sack.

One can see the little ear, paw and mouth in this image.

This pup is still in the sac. This image was taken

seconds before Mae released him from his sac by

tearing it open with her teeth.

As one can see this pup's head and most of his body

                                                       is still in the sac..
